Doctor: Winston J. Warme, MD
Briefly describe your symptoms and the medical condition that brought you to see the doctor.
I had an ACL replacement surgery on my right knee in 1996 with arthroscopic surgeries in 1997, 1998, 2008.
What one or two things stand out to you about your experience with your doctor and their team?
Dr. Warme is very caring, attentive, and helpful. He was able to diagnose and explain the source of my knee pain in simple terms. My previous Orthopedic Surgeon, was recommending knee surgery again. But Dr. Warme was encouraging me to stretch and do physical therapy....and IT WORKED!!!
What can you do now that you could not do before surgery? Have you been able to return to your hobbies or sports at the same level as pre-injury or at an even higher level?
My knee is now fully functional and I can enjoy the all of my favorite activities. I am a veteran Rock and Ice Climber of 20 years, and I am climbing at my highest level. My knee feels great and I'm very happy to have not operated when it wasn't needed.
What advice would you like to share with a patient with a condition such as yours who is considering surgery?
I would recommend Dr. Warme to anyone out there as he is the best. I have had 20 years with many different Orthopedic issues and seen 4 other Surgeons over the years for a lot of climbing inuries.

But now that I've found Dr. Warme and after the wonderful experience I had with him, I will always be coming back!
